Turmeric & Golden Milk



Turmeric Paste

1/4 cup organic ground turmeric

1/2 cup filtered water (plus more for adding as it's cooking)

  • Place both in a small saucepan on medium heat.

  • Bring to a simmer and keep cooking and stirring for 7-9 minutes.

  • Add more water as it's cooking if the paste starts to dry out.

  • Store in fridge for up to 3 weeks.

  • Use for golden milk, curries, soups, smoothies, marinades, sauces and anything else you can think of!

Golden Milk

1/2 - 1 teaspoon turmeric paste

1 cup milk of your choice

A few drops sesame oil or another oil of your choice

1/2 - 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • Heat milk and turmeric paste together gently (do not boil especially if using non-dairy milk as it will separate).

  • Pour into mug and add oil and honey/maple syrup.

  • Enjoy!

What can this help with?
