Integrating energy, chemistry & structure for 2022

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!

Firstly, a bit of admin....collective groan...I'll keep it short! There are some changes to locations, hours and fees for 2022.

Location - hopefully you are all aware from last year's email that I'm only working in McLaren Vale this year. Online appointments via Zoom or FaceTime are definitely still available and are very handy if you need to be in isolation, we've done quite a few already this year!

Online bookings are available for current clients. You can also access the link by going to the website homepage and clicking on the button that says "Book Online (current clients)"

Hours - appointments for both Kinesiology and private Pilates sessions are:

  • Tues - 9am, 10:30am, 12pm

  • Wed - 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, 5pm

  • Thurs - 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, 5:30pm

  • Sat - 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 2pm

Fees for 2022 - cash or card accepted (2% card fee):

  • Kinesiology Initial Consultation – 90mins $140 ($3 card fee)

  • Kinesiology Standard Consultation – 60mins $100 ($2 card fee)

  • Kinesiology Child Consultation (0-12yrs) – 60mins $100 ($2 card fee)

  • Private Pilates 1 person – 60mins $50 ($1 card fee)

  • Private Pilates 2 people – 60mins $60 ($1 card fee)

Phew, now we've got that out of the way let's talk INTEGRATION. That's my word for 2022. We've all had (and many are still having) a lot of chaos and change thrust upon us. We've also potentially had some time to reflect on and reassess our priorities. It now feels like the right time to really integrate those updated priorities and shifted mindsets into our daily lives.

What do you want to integrate more fully into your life?

Different thought patterns?

Different exercise habits?

More meditation?

More playtime with the kids?

More creative time with your paints or pencils?

More music?

Nature?

Self-love?

Here is a triquetra - a celtic knot. Excuse the roughness of the image - it's only my second attempt at drawing one! I love the image due to my Irish heritage but also because it shows beautifully the integration of the elements of health. Energy - mental, emotional and spiritual; Chemistry - nutrition, hormones, immune system; Structure - muscles, bones & joints, connective tissue. They all flow seamlessly from one into the other - they cannot be separated. When we work with one element we affect the others. When one element is out of balance it affects the others. For example, your food is not just your fuel, it provides the chemicals that literally become the structure of your body - your muscles and bones; become the hormones and even the cells of the immune system. The molecules in your food also vibrate at a frequency that help to raise or lower the frequencies of your energy systems - the chakras, meridians and aura.

So this year, there will be a focus on integration for me personally and when working with you all. The more we can raise awareness of how our body systems are integrated and then take steps to live in a way that respects this integration, the better we will all feel.

"What the world needs now, is integration, sweet integration..." It doesn't have quite the same ring to it but you get the idea!

Happy integrating,

Carla :)

P.S. Want to re-read a previous email but have deleted it? (accidentally of course!) Not to fear - all previous emails are available on the website blog or facebook.
