One down, three to go

Hi everyone,

I hope the lead into Christmas, New Year and all the festivities is wonderful in whatever colour, shape and form it takes for you. This year I am looking forward to spending Christmas with hubby, Gypsy and some beautiful friends. We will probably eat too much, laugh too loudly and be crashed out by 9pm! Although we'll then have to wake up again to video call the UK family on their Christmas morning...I love how weird time is.

Homeopathy books
Homeopathy books brought back from NZ (thanks mum!)

I am also feeling very relieved to have finished the first year of Homeopathy study. One year down, just three to go! It's been great to finally start studying Homeopathy as it's something I've wanted to do for a long time and it's also had it's challenges. I've learned that I really don't like online studying! Although I was brought up with Homeopathy as mum has used it since we were little, I am starting to appreciate the depth of it, the scientific rigour of the methodology and the profound results that can occur. If you're interested in finding out what Homeopathy is and how it works I highly recommend the book "Impossible Cure" by Amy Lansky. It is so easy to read/listen to that even hubby enjoyed it on our drive up to Arkaroola earlier this year. Amy explains Homeopathy far better than I ever could - and I do have the book if anyone wants to borrow it. I know Homeopathy is going to work beautifully with Kinesiology as they both focus on removing blockages to allow the many energy systems of the body to flow and come back to balance. Homeopathy (in my humble opinion) is severely underused in Australia. Here are some incredible statistics from around the world:

  • In France 43.5% of ALL healthcare practitioners (ie not just homeopaths) prescribe homeopathic medicines.

  • In India there are over 200,000 Homeopathic practitioners and Homeopathy is part of the Ministry of Health.

  • Homeopathy is also included in the national health systems of Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Pakistan, Switzerland, Germany, Sri Lanka and the UK.

  • 29% of the EU’s population use homeopathic medicines in their day-to-day healthcare.

  • There are ~ 400 medical doctors in the UK that use homeopathy, regulated by the Faculty of Homeopathy and promoted by the British Homeopathic Association.

Although I will be needing guinea pigs soon to use for clinical case studies this will be for simple issues to begin with so if you would like to see a registered Homeopath visit the Australian Homeopathic Association and search in your area. Many Homeopaths will do online consults now if you want to search further afield too.

I hope that has wet your appetite and let me know if you have any questions.

And of course, one last Christmas joke...

Why was the snowman looking through the carrots?

He was picking his nose.

HAPPY CHRISTMASING!

Carla :)
