Immune Boosting Recipe & Online Class



Wow some fantastic weather we having in South Australia to help boost our Vitamin D levels before winter.  I hope you are all finding some time to enjoy it.

Here is an immune boosting recipe to help as well - Broccoli and Sweet Potato in Spicy Coriander Sauce.


Broccoli and Sweet Potato are both good sources of vitamin C which we all need plenty of at the moment. Broccoli is also good for the minerals Manganese and Selenium as well as Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) and Betacarotene.  Sweet potatoes are a good source of both types of vitamin A (Retinol & Betacarotene) as well as Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid).  Coriander is known for it's ability to help the body detoxify heavy metals.


And just as importantly, it is delicious!


Online Immune Booster Class Info

I will be teaching a 30 min Immune Booster Class on Wed 15th April, 6pmwhich will be both live online and also recorded so if you don't like the idea of being live online (or the children just won't leave you alone) you can watch the recorded version at a time that suits you (once they are in bed ;)  Or better yet, get them to do it with you!


What will it look like?

A 30 minute session including:

1.  Brain integration switch on to help us process information easily and minimise overwhelm

2.  Balancing 3 key meridians:

  • Spleen meridian for the immune system

  • Lung meridian for the respiratory system and 

  • Large Intestine meridian for the microbiome balance which is a huge part of the immune system.

For each of these meridians you will learn how to:

  • improve the flow of chi/energy through the meridian

  • stimulate the neurolymphatic points to help switch on the lymphatic system which is integral to the white blood cell production & transport needed for fighting viruses 

  • stimulate the neurovascular points to help the blood flow and chi to the brain, appropriate organs, muscles and meridian lines

3.  De-stressing technique to help the nervous system calm down and come out of fight/flight so we can make decisions from a state of clarity rather than a state of fear.

Sounds awesome, what else do I need to know?

  • It's on Wed 15th April, 6pm

  • You will be able to keep the recording forever more so you can ideally repeat it a couple of times a week to keep the immune system boosted.

  • It will be simple enough and safe for the whole family to do including children.  If you have toddlers or babies you can use the recorded version to do the balance on them afterwards.

  • It will be live on Zoom which is very easy to use.  If you've not used it before you will receive a link via email and the first time you open it you will be prompted to download the Zoom app.

  • The recorded version will be on YouTube.

  • It is $15 (per household).

  • If you have any other questions, ask away :)
